About The Polytechnic
Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic is an institution of higher learning situated in Atikori Ijebu-Igbo, Ogun State. The polytechnic’s roots can be traced back to Chief Victor Olabisi Onabanjo’s governorship of Ogun State from 1979 to 1982. Many prominent citizens of Ijebu Igbo worked tirelessly to ensure that ‘The Polytechnic, Ijebu Igbo’ became more a reality. During the second republic, the institution was established and relocated to the Technical College site.
Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic is regarded as one of the best institutions to obtain a National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) in Nigeria. The Polytechnic, which is located at Ijebu Igbo, Ogun State receives quite a large number of applications from students via UTME entry. In 2018, the School recorded a total number of 1000+ matriculants.
WHAT IS POST UTME SCORE
After every UTME exercise, a particular mark is set out by the exam body {e.g 120}. This mark is a score a candidate must have or cross, to qualify him or her to sit for the chosen school’s POST UTME exercise. This said mark is announced to all school’s to enable them decide the number of candidates they will admit.
After the school’s decision, they announce a particular mark which must not be lower than the mark the UTME body fixed. Any candidate who cross the mark set by the UTME body and did not reach the chosen school’s mark, is NEVER eligible to sit for the school’s POST UTME.
This mark or score set by the school admission board is known as SCHOOL’S CUT OFF MARK.
Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic (AAPOLY) Cut-Off Mark
AAPOLY JAMB cut-off mark for all courses 2022/2023 academic session is 140 points; therefore, candidates who score a minimum of 140 and above are automatically eligible for post UTME/internal screening exercise at Abraham Adesanya polytechnic.
Still, we must warn you that the higher your JAMB score, the higher your chances of clinching the course registered in your UTME.

To correctly calculate your aggregate, know that the JAMB Examination is made up of 400 marks, whereas the Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic Post UTME is made 100 marks.
- Divide your JAMB score by 8,
- Divide your Post UTME score by 2,
- Add up the result.

If Tina scored 240 in her JAMB and 80 in her Post UTME, then her Aggregate score can be gotten by following these steps.
240/8= 30
80/2= 40
40+ 30= 70
