Allover Central Polytechnic is an accredited polytechnic and one of the best private polytechnics in Nigeria which came into being when the Federal Government of Nigeria was trying to liberalize

education, taking a special interest in technological education and the overall health of their students.

The policy of the FG was anchored on the fact that technological education leads to both economic and social transformation.

All Over Central Polytechnic was established in 2003 under the guidance of Decree 9, of 1993 which allows the establishment of Private Tertiary Education in Nigeria.

Allover Central Polytechnic was approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria through the recommendations of National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) via the letter of approval referenced

C/TEB.467/Vol.1/20 of 15th December 2003, and was listed in the 2004/2005 edition of JAMB brochure and included in the Directory of Accredited Polytechnics and colleges of Education in Nigeria.

Allover Central Polytechnic Admission Requirements

Candidates who have selected Allover Central Polytechnic as preferred choice of institution should provide the following:

1. WAEC & NECO (‘O’ Level): Candidate must obtain a minimum of Credit pass which must include English Language and Mathematics plus any other 3 subjects that relates to their courses.
2. Direct Entry candidates either from Pre-degree programmes like JUPEB, or any of their diploma programmes or from other institution are allowed admission.

HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA
1. O’level requirements for National Diploma Programme.
2. National Diploma with minimum of lower credit division from any polytechnic approved by NBTE.
3. Evidence of 1 year Industrial attachment.
