CRUTECH Cut Off Marks And How To Calculate Their Aggregate Score

Calculating a school’s cut off mark can be confusing as cut off marks varies for different universities. In this post, we are going to tell you Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH) cut off mark and departmental cut off marks and also how to calculate their aggregate score.

WHAT IS POST UTME SCORE 

After every UTME exercise, a particular mark is set out by the exam body {e.g 120}. This mark is a score a candidate must have or cross, to qualify him or her to sit for the chosen school’s POST UTME exercise. This said mark is announced to all school’s to enable them decide the number of candidates they will admit.

WHAT IS AGGREGATE SCORE 

That means the candidate must get at least 50 Questions Correctly. The aggregate score will be used to determine the cut-off point for admission into each of the programmes. Cut-off points for each course will be determined by the performance of all the candidates who applied for the course.

How To Calculate CRUTECH Aggregate Score 

CRUTECH Post UTME is made up of 100 while JAMB is made up of 400

Simply, divide your JAMB Score by 8

Divide your Post UTME by 2

Then add both scores

Now for a better understanding, lets use Treasure as a case study,

If Treasure scores 258 in her JAMB

258/8 = 32.3

And 80 in her Post UTME

80/2= 40

Now to get Treasure’s Aggregate Score, we will add the score we got from the JAMB and Post UTME

32.3+ 40= 72.3

With this, you will know if you are eligible for admission or not.
