About the Polytechnic:
Ibadan City Polytechnic is a privately owned tertiary institution located in Oyo State, Nigeria.
It currently has three faculties which are; School of Social Science and Management, School of Engineering Technology and School of Applied Science.
History of Ibadan City Polytechnic
The Polytechnic was a full fledged private Polytechnic on 20th of May. 2015. After series of inspection by The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).

IBADAN CITY POLYTECHNIC ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS 2022/2023
- Candidates must have reached the age of 16.
- Candidates must have at least 6 (six) “Cs (Credits)” grades in their O’level result (s) which must include English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at a sitting.
- Candidates must score at least 180 in JAMB UTME examination.
