JAMB dismisses two staff for misconduct

Due to serious wrongdoing, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has fired two employees.
In a statement released on March 1, 2023, the board’s head of public affairs and protocol, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, announced the dismissal and accused the staff members of forging documents.
From its Makurdi, Benue State office, he named the fired employees as Bilyaminu Ishaku and Andrew Anebi Candidus. According to the announcement, the dismissal became effective on February 27, 2023.

The staff has been given the immediate instruction to hand over their identity cards and any other Board property they may have in their hands to the State Coordinator, JAMB Office, Benue State, for subsequent submission to the Director, Human Resources.
