The Federal Government has ordered the closure of all tertiary establishments beforehand of the February 25 and March eleven elections. See information below;
“In view of the foregoing and worries expressed on the safety of staff, college students and homes of our respective establishments, the Honourable Minister of Education, Mal Adamu Adamu, has, following great consultations with the applicable safety agencies, directed that each one universities and Inter University Centres be close down and educational sports be suspended among 22 February and 14 March, 2023,” stated a letter issued with the aid of using the National Universities Commission on February 3.

The universities have been requested to close down February 22 to March 14.
Last month, the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) requested Mr Buhari to briefly close down all tertiary establishments till after the February 25 and March eleven elections. The affiliation burdened that the shutdown might permit college students to achieve their PVCs.
