About the Polytechnic:
Uyo City Polytechnic is a privately funded and managed polytechnic located in Uyo, Akwa ibom state south south Nigeria.
The polytechnic was founded to provide solutions to the Nigerian education sector by providing easy access to quality education combined with high moral standards in order to equip students to have roles in sustainable national building.
The polytechnic was founded in 2013 and currently has a relatively low student body compared to other polytechnics and it has no religious affiliation.
Admission into this polytechnic is currently not so competitive compared to other federal or state polytechnics in the country.
Uyo city Polytechnic courses include full time ND/HND courses Engineering, Sciences, Arts, Management and social sciences and it’s tuition is less than N100,000.

Applicants must have at least five credit including English Language and Mathematics.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS 2022/2023
- Candidates must have reached the age of 16.
- Candidates must have at least 6 (six) “Cs (Credits)” grades in their O’level result (s) which must include English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at a sitting.
- Candidates must score at least 180 in JAMB UTME examination.
